Producing Ramp Voltage Using Simulation: What You Need to Know

AI Thread Summary
To produce ramp voltage using simulation, an integrator fed by a step voltage is recommended. LT Spice can be utilized by incorporating a voltage generator and using DC Sweep mode to generate the desired voltage graph. Users need to specify two voltages for the sweep and the increment for step size. This setup allows for analysis of voltage changes at different circuit points. Proper configuration in LT Spice is essential for accurate results.

You can use an integrator feeded by a step voltage.

LT Spice allows you to put a voltage generator into the circuit and then use DC Sweep mode to produce a graph with this voltage along the bottom. You then click on other points in the circuit to get the resulting trace for that point.

To set it up, you just have to tell it two voltages you want to sweep between and an increment to give the size steps you want.
