AI Thread Summary
Constructing a massive pyramid or structure extending 65 miles into space is theoretically possible, often referred to as a "space elevator." This concept would require advanced engineering to withstand significant atmospheric pressure and other challenges. The costs associated with such a project would be substantial, making it a complex endeavor. Despite the difficulties, proponents argue that the benefits of easier access to space could justify the investment. The feasibility of this idea continues to be a topic of interest in engineering and space exploration discussions.

Would it not be possible to construct a huge pyramid(?) that could vertically extend 65 miles up for our use into space? Granted, the enormous pressure would require special engineering, and at great costs, but surely it can be done. ?

This concept is called a "space elevator." Google it.

So I know that electrons are fundamental, there's no 'material' that makes them up, it's like talking about a colour itself rather than a car or a flower. Now protons and neutrons and quarks and whatever other stuff is there fundamentally, I want someone to kind of teach me these, I have a lot of questions that books might not give the answer in the way I understand. Thanks
