Technique to avoid errors in AC Bridges

    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data
    I m not able to understand one of the methods to reduce error in measurement using ac bridges.

    "All the leads to a single corner should be brought as nearly as possible to the same point"

    2. Relevant equations
    I am providing the bridge layout image and a,b,c,d are corners of bridge.
