I just bought a brand new TI89 and the second I turn it on I go to Home. I press F1 to go to tools and the Open and New functions are fuzzy. It won't allow me to use those functions either. This is happening all over the place as I looked throughout the calculator.

Any ideas?

Never mind, sorry...I'm new with these things. I just figured out it was because it doesn't allow you to select them because it's not necessary...haha.
