I wanted to study electrical behavior of thin films. Can anybody suggest me suitable source measure unit please?
    (also of low budget)
    Power supply: Voltage (few volts)
    measurement: current (micro- milliamps)

I've found some cheap devices on amazon looking after "microampere meter" or "milliampere meter"

You could use a lock-in amplifier to apply a small AC current using a shunt resistor and measure the AC voltage across the sample.
