Calculate Current in 5-Resistor Wye-Delta Circuit

AI Thread Summary
To calculate the current in a circuit with five resistors, including a Y network of 220 ohms, 330 ohms, and 680 ohms, along with two parallel 1K ohm resistors, a 10V voltage source is applied. The discussion emphasizes the need to simplify the resistor network using series and parallel combinations or to apply Kirchhoff's Current Law (KCL) for analysis. Participants are encouraged to show their own calculations or thought processes to receive further assistance. The thread has been moved to Homework Help for more focused guidance. Proper understanding of circuit simplification techniques is crucial for solving this problem effectively.

calculate the current through circuit which contain 5 resistors,3 of them shape y network
thier values are 220 ohm's,330 ohm's,680 ohm's.
the other 2 resistors are in parallel with them and they are 1Kohm's.
the voltage sourse give 10V.

Welcome to the PF. As the Rules state, you must show your own work and thoughts on the problem before we can provide tutorial help. How would you approach this problem?

i'm sorry I didn't know the rulse ,and I don't know how to send my thoughts.
can you help me.

thanks!

Sure you can show some work. Would you be able to simplify the resistor network using parallel and series combinations? Or would you prefer to write the KCL equations to get started?
