A twin spark system has two spark plugs per cylinder (like on my Alfa Romeo engine for instance).

A digital ignition system uses a microprocessor to control spark timing, and sometimes dwell, energy level etc.
 
well i was referring to a bajaj pulsar bike that uses this system,how does it work ?
