AI Thread Summary
The blue tint observed on the computer screen may be due to several factors. It could indicate that one of the primary colors is not displaying correctly, potentially caused by altered color settings or color temperature. Checking the connection cables for secure attachment and inspecting for any damage to the pins is recommended. Additionally, a faulty graphics card could also be a contributing factor to the issue.

In one of my classes the screen of the computer next to me often turns blue. It is not the blue screen error, it appears as though when we are using it the screen looks as though it is blue glass, as though I put blue glass on the screen

Maybe the colors or color temperature of the screen has been altered?

Screensaver?

Check the cables to make sure they're connected securely. You can also check and see if the pins on the cables are damaged.

I would also suspect that it's a cable issue. It's also possible that the graphics card is damaged.

Asus Vivobook S14 flip. The power button is wrecked. Unable to turn it on AT ALL. We can get into how and why it got wrecked later, but suffice to say a kitchen knife was involved: These buttons do want to NOT come off, not like other lappies, where they can snap in and out. And they sure don't go back on. So, in the absence of a longer-term solution that might involve a replacement, is there any way I can activate the power button, like with a paperclip or wire or something? It looks...
