Schools Finding the Right College for MIS and Artificial Intelligence Degrees

AI Thread Summary
Several colleges offer rigorous programs in Management Information Systems (MIS) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), but these programs often belong to different departments or schools within a university. MIS typically falls under the business school, while AI and related fields like Computational Neuroscience are usually housed in science or engineering schools. As a result, core course requirements for MIS and AI programs differ significantly, with little overlap in foundational courses. For specific program details, resources like the Indian Institute of Technology's Computer Science and Engineering department may provide insights into AI offerings.

Hi, are there any colleges that offer rigorous programs for both MIS and Artificial Intelligence degrees?

Also, will MIS/Computational Neuroscience/AI require similar core courses to take?
Thanks.

No. In fact, at many places those are not just in different departments but are in different schools.

What is MIS?

Probably Management Information Systems. Those programs are usually in a university's business school, rather than with the science and math departments.

Hey, I am Andreas from Germany. I am currently 35 years old and I want to relearn math and physics. This is not one of these regular questions when it comes to this matter. So... I am very realistic about it. I know that there are severe contraints when it comes to selfstudy compared to a regular school and/or university (structure, peers, teachers, learning groups, tests, access to papers and so on) . I will never get a job in this field and I will never be taken serious by "real"...
