Greetings .! This is regarding a lab experiment .I need to find out if we can boil or heat a liquid ,which is connected by with a manometer and a piston .We need to push the piston and also see the reading in the manometer. Which is the ideal liquid or gas , which will not eak or hold on to pressure ?

Dear Mr.Borek , we need to use the sun's radiation to boil the liquid .which is the right liquid to raise the temperature of the liquid so that it increases the pressure and pushes the piston
 
I told you - try with water. You will probably need some way of a concave mirror to focus light. You can make it from cardboard and aluminum oil.
