Discussion Overview

The discussion centers around generating a specific signal for input into pin 26 and pin 53 of a system. Participants are exploring the necessary equipment and methods to create a standalone input for verification purposes.

Discussion Character

  • Exploratory, Technical explanation, Debate/contested

Main Points Raised

  • One participant seeks guidance on generating a specific signal into designated pins and expresses a desire for a standalone input to verify output.
  • Another participant inquires about the nature of the signal being referenced, asking what goes into the signal on the left.
  • A different participant questions whether the inquiry relates to a curve tracer and asks about the significance of dotted shapes in the context of the signal.
  • One participant asks about the available power supplies, specifically if +5V and -5V are accessible.

Areas of Agreement / Disagreement

The discussion does not appear to have a consensus, as multiple questions and points of clarification are raised without definitive answers or agreement on the signal generation method.

Contextual Notes

Participants have not provided specific details about the signal characteristics or the system in question, which may limit the clarity of the discussion.

Can someone teach me how to GENERATE that kinda signal into
pin 26 AND pin 53?

Is there a way to do this?

Currently, my system is providing the input to those pins but I want to create a stand alone
input so I can verify the output of my card.

Can someone please help me.
Thank you!

Is this for some sort of curve tracer?

What is the significance of the dotted shapes?

What power supplies do you have available. +5V and -5V ?
