AI Thread Summary
A force can be defined as the acceleration of mass, represented mathematically as F = dp/dt. In simpler terms, a force is any influence that causes an object to change its speed, direction, or shape. This definition aligns with standard physics principles and is supported by sources like Wikipedia. Understanding force is crucial for studying motion and dynamics in physics. Overall, force is a fundamental concept that describes the interaction between objects.

The most general way I can express it is:

\vec{F}=\frac{\mathrm{d}\vec{p}}{\mathrm{d} t}If you're looking for a description in words, wikipedia defines a force as:

"...a force is any influence that causes a free body to undergo a change in speed, a change in direction, or a change in shape."

comparing a flat solar panel of area 2π r² and a hemisphere of the same area, the hemispherical solar panel would only occupy the area π r² of while the flat panel would occupy an entire 2π r² of land. wouldn't the hemispherical version have the same area of panel exposed to the sun, occupy less land space and can therefore increase the number of panels one land can have fitted? this would increase the power output proportionally as well. when I searched it up I wasn't satisfied with...
