Need Help Building an Audio Amplifier with D2059 Transistors

AI Thread Summary
A forum user seeks assistance in building an audio amplifier using four D2059 transistors and a TIP117 transistor, expressing a lack of electronics knowledge. They request simple circuit diagrams for amplifiers ranging from 100 to 200 watts, compatible with power supplies of 20 to 40 volts. Other participants suggest researching existing designs, particularly using MOSFETs, and provide insights into the specifications of the D2059 transistors as medium power NPN and PNP types. The conversation highlights the complexity of the request, comparing it to building a car from basic parts. Overall, the user is encouraged to explore available resources for amplifier designs.

Good morning Thank you very much for being part of this forum. I have a concern. I have 4 D2059 transistors and I want to build an audio amplifier, but I don't have enough knowledge of electronics. And I have one more transistor tip117. Can anyone help me by sending a simple circuit diagram how to assemble this?

I also have a large number of MOSFET transistors of all kinds, but I can't build a sound amplifier with that.
I need simple schemes up to 200watt to 100wat. With normal and symmetrical sources up to 20v to 40V. It can be up to 35v too.

To put this in perspective, what you ask is like saying:
I have 4 wheels with tires, a steering wheel, and a radiator. Can some send me plans on how to build a car?

Btw, I didn't even look up what those part number actually are. For all I know attempting to use those parts would be the equivalent of putting square wheels on a car.

Welcome to PF.

Maybe try a Google Images search on mosfet audio amplifier to get some ideas...

I didn't either until just now. They are medium power 100V NPN and PNP transistors in TO-220 type packages:

Hi all I have some confusion about piezoelectrical sensors combination. If i have three acoustic piezoelectrical sensors (with same receive sensitivity in dB ref V/1uPa) placed at specific distance, these sensors receive acoustic signal from a sound source placed at far field distance (Plane Wave) and from broadside. I receive output of these sensors through individual preamplifiers, add them through hardware like summer circuit adder or in software after digitization and in this way got an...
I have recently moved into a new (rather ancient) house and had a few trips of my Residual Current breaker. I dug out my old Socket tester which tell me the three pins are correct. But then the Red warning light tells me my socket(s) fail the loop test. I never had this before but my last house had an overhead supply with no Earth from the company. The tester said "get this checked" and the man said the (high but not ridiculous) earth resistance was acceptable. I stuck a new copper earth...
I am not an electrical engineering student, but a lowly apprentice electrician. I learn both on the job and also take classes for my apprenticeship. I recently wired my first transformer and I understand that the neutral and ground are bonded together in the transformer or in the service. What I don't understand is, if the neutral is a current carrying conductor, which is then bonded to the ground conductor, why does current only flow back to its source and not on the ground path...
