What formula would one use to determine the centrifugal force at the tip of a rotor of 35ft diameter, rotating at 392rpm?
Would any other factors be necessary, such as blade thickness, weight, etc?

A pilot I work with doesn't believe the weight at the rotor tip would be measured in tons.
I was given the formula many years ago by an instructor, but it has been long forgotten. :-)

Never mind. Just found it. (sheepish)
