AI Thread Summary
The discussion focuses on understanding inverting amplifiers in operational amplifier circuits. The user successfully calculated the output-to-input voltage ratio as Vout/Vin = -R2/R1 and noted that the closed-loop gain is less but more linear. They expressed a need for assistance with parts b), c), e), and f), particularly b) and c), which pertain to counteracting input bias current. The user later clarified that parts b) and c) involve the relationship R = 1/R1 + 1/R2. Overall, the conversation highlights key concepts in analyzing inverting amplifier configurations.

Can do part a) ! Vout/ Vin = -R2 / R1

and found part d) in a book, that closed loop gain is less but more linear and am able to draw the graph.

Any help with b) c) e) f) would be great, particulary part b) and c) as i think its something very basic that i should know!

Figured out part b) and c), its to counter input bias current and R = 1/R1 + 1/R2
