So yeah. I tried to cheat but because my regex is so rusty the result was so abysmal I'm not even gonna post the "result" even though I added a lookup into an online library given me a json output along the lines of:

was not on my list of solutions

There should be a sensor that detects and prevents me from playing immediately after a 4 hour nap. With such a simple scenario after my first word was played, I decided to solve the puzzle in my head.

Fortunately for me, when I discovered the solution board going blank, I resorted to my post game online analysis tool, which contained this "not a word". (I concur, though Merriam-Webster does list it.)

I wonder about the average score for this one

Averages:
World: 4.110
PF: 4.400

Late entry: It's also listed in my somewhat dusty 1993, 13¼ lb hardcopy Merriam-Websters, so it's not a new thing. It does state that it's slang though.

Reddit has a thing which is basically identical to PF's Wordle thread, but filled with scores of unfiltered comments.
