Depends what lab equipment you have available. You could distill it, but keep in mind that ammonia is a gas and will be tough to collect without the proper equipment. Not to mention the fact that homemade stills are illegal.
 
I want to test a humidity sensor with one or more saturated salt solutions. The table salt that I have on hand contains one of two anticaking agents, calcium silicate or sodium aluminosilicate.
