Homework Help Overview

The discussion revolves around finding the current in a wire that does not contain a resistor, within the context of an electrical circuit problem. The subject area involves concepts of current, resistance, and Ohm's Law.

Discussion Character

  • Exploratory, Assumption checking

Approaches and Questions Raised

  • Participants discuss the total resistance and total current calculated using Ohm's Law, but there is uncertainty about how to determine the current specifically in the wire without a resistor. Some participants emphasize the need for the original poster to show their work to facilitate assistance.

Discussion Status

The discussion is ongoing, with participants prompting the original poster to provide their attempts at solving the problem. There is a focus on ensuring that the original poster engages with the problem before receiving further help.

Contextual Notes

Participants note the importance of showing work in accordance with forum rules, which require an attempt to solve the problem before receiving assistance.

I can find the total resistance and then I found out the total current is 0.1344A by V=IR.
But I can't find the current in the no resistor wire I which the question need to find it.

PF rules:

You MUST show that you have attempted to answer your question in order to receive help.

Any and all assistance given to homework assignments or textbook style exercises should be given only after the questioner has shown some effort in solving the problem. If no attempt is made then the questioner should be asked to provide one before any assistance is given.
