AI Thread Summary
Weather warfare is a topic that straddles the line between legitimate scientific research and conspiracy theories. While there is credible research into weather manipulation techniques, such as cloud seeding, these efforts have largely been ineffective in producing significant results. Many claims surrounding weather warfare stem from conspiracy theories that misinterpret or exaggerate the implications of these scientific endeavors. For instance, the High-Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP), often cited in these discussions, is a radio array unrelated to weather modification, yet it is frequently linked to conspiracy narratives about weather control. Overall, while some research exists, the majority of claims about weather warfare are unfounded and speculative.

Hi, does anyone know whether weather warfare is just plain conspiritorial theory or covert fact. Genuinely interested in finding out more.

It depends on what you mean. There has been some legitimate research done into weather manipulation (such as cloud seeding), but most of that research failed to do anything useful. Most of what you will read is conspiracy theory, where people cite cloud seeding experiments as evidence that we've tried to manipulate the weather and jump right from that to saying that HAARP (a radio array that has nothing to do with the weather) is a weather modification experiment/weapon.

Hello, I’m currently writing a series of essays on Pangaea, continental drift, and Earth’s geological cycles. While working on my research, I’ve come across some inconsistencies in the existing theories — for example, why the main pressure seems to have been concentrated in the northern polar regions. So I’m curious: is there any data or evidence suggesting that an external cosmic body (an asteroid, comet, or another massive object) could have influenced Earth’s geology in the distant...
On August 10, 2025, there was a massive landslide on the eastern side of Tracy Arm fjord. Although some sources mention 1000 ft tsunami, that height represents the run-up on the sides of the fjord.
