General Chemistry : Density

    Calculate the number of grams of sulfuric acid in 1 gallon of battery acid if the solution has a density of 1.26 and is 38.5 sulfuric acid by mass.

    I don't necessarily want the answer, but I would like to know how to solve this sort of problem....

    Density is mass per unit volume, so if given the density and volume, how do you calculate mass?
