What is Reu: Definition and 200 Discussions

Reu or Ragau (Hebrew: רְעוּ‎ – Rə'ū; Greek: Ῥαγαύ – Rhagaú) in Genesis was the son of Peleg and the father of Serug, thus being Abraham's great-great-grandfather and the ancestor of the Isrealites and Ishmaelites.
He was 32 when Serug was born and lived to the age of 239 (Genesis 11:20), according to the Masoretic text. The Septuagint and Samaritan Pentateuch state that his age on fathering Serug was 132, and the Septuagint thus gives age at death as 339.
The Book of Jubilees names his mother as Lomna of Shinar (10:28), and his wife as Ora, daughter of Ur Kesed (11:1). He is said to have been born at the time when the Tower of Babel was begun.

    REU application, need critique

Hey all, while I've applied to several REUs for this summer, I've mostly been applying in areas that I'm only tangentially interested in. Last week, I received an email about a new REU that's opened up at Case, and was ecstatic to see the following research program: (T4) Phase transitions in the...

Should I list a publication if the paper has my name in there but I didn't actually write anything in the paper? (except producing some plots and results). Is it possible for a freshman to find a summer REU program?

I'm not actually a freshman. I'm a sophomore. But I didn't start doing physics until this year and fell in love with it and decided to declare it as my major. But I'm wondering is if it would be possible for me to find a summer REU program with only 2 semesters of physics? By this summer...
