(Spartanburg SC's nickname is "Hub City".)

Bournemouth FC are nicknamed The Cherries (but I don't know why).

Sometimes related to industry. Macclesfield Town called the silkmen.
Manchester United are the red devils, probably the kit.
Mossley called the Lily Whites, the kit is white. Support your local non league!
