Last Year of High School Physics Project Ideas

AI Thread Summary
Ideas for high school physics projects include constructing classic perpetual motion machines to illustrate the principles of energy conservation and the impossibility of such machines. Other suggestions involve experiments with electromagnetism, optics, or renewable energy sources like solar panels. Students are encouraged to explore real-world applications of physics concepts, such as building simple circuits or analyzing projectile motion. Engaging in hands-on experiments can enhance understanding and retention of physics principles. Creative and innovative approaches to these topics can make for compelling final projects.

Hey guys I am looking for some ideas of projects to do for a physics class. It is for the last year of high school. I am open to all kinds of ideas, feel free to share them :)

How about building some classic perpetual motion machines, and demonstrate why they don't work?

So I know that electrons are fundamental, there's no 'material' that makes them up, it's like talking about a colour itself rather than a car or a flower. Now protons and neutrons and quarks and whatever other stuff is there fundamentally, I want someone to kind of teach me these, I have a lot of questions that books might not give the answer in the way I understand. Thanks
