Outout difference between different size piezo disc

AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers on the output voltage and power differences among various sizes of piezoelectric discs, specifically comparing diameters like 15mm and 27mm under the same pressure conditions. It highlights the lack of available datasheets for these components, emphasizing that such information is typically provided by manufacturers rather than sellers. Participants mention that while there are formulas to calculate output, they vary based on the specific piezo material, which often remains proprietary. Users are encouraged to utilize search engines to find relevant data and diagrams for better understanding. Overall, thorough research is essential for accurate information on piezoelectric generator projects.

Hi Experts,

I'm preparing piezo electric generator project, but when I'm searching for piezo disc for my project, i came across different sizes of piezo electric disc, but i didn't found any datasheet,

My question is what's the output voltage/power difference between different diameter piezo disc like 15mm, 27mm, etc. at the same pressure, is there any formula or pdf or any good website, to study the same.

Thanks in Advance
Ashish

data sheets are provided by the manufacturer, not the seller

Yes, there are specific formulas but for each piezo there is another one, depending on materials and them are business secrets.

even the first answer contains some diagrams - research is boring sometimes, I know

How E-Bike Battery Fires Became a Deadly Crisis in New York City https://www.yahoo.com/news/e-bike-battery-fires-became-120807964.html Do not bring Li batteries into an apartment or occupied structure. They should be stored in non-flammable structures, either metal, brick or cement/concrete. Don't overcharge batteries. Know what to do if one catches fire. Keep them away from flammable materials. Make sure the batteries are not counterfeit. Be cautious of used or damaged batteries.
I have Mass A being pulled vertically. I have Mass B on an incline that is pulling Mass A. There is a 2:1 pulley between them. The math I'm using is: FA = MA / 2 = ? t-force MB * SIN(of the incline degree) = ? If MB is greater then FA, it pulls FA up as MB moves down the incline. BUT... If I reverse the 2:1 pulley. Then the math changes to... FA = MA * 2 = ? t-force MB * SIN(of the incline degree) = ? If FA is greater then MB, it pulls MB up the incline as FA moves down. It's confusing...
Hi. I noticed that all electronic devices in my household that also tell time eventually lag behind, except the ones that get synchronized by radio signal or internet. Most of them are battery-powered, except my alarm clock (which runs slow as well). Why does none of them run too fast? Deliberate design (why)? Wrong temperature for quartz crystal? Decreasing battery voltage? Or just a coincidence?
