Summer Internships (international)

In summary, it's important to note that opportunities like CERN, Fermi Lab, and the UCLA internship have unique requirements and preferences for potential candidates. Therefore, it's impossible to give a definitive answer about what credentials you need to get in. However, it's generally advised to emphasize academic achievements, research experience, and relevant skills and experiences on your resume, strive for a high GPA, and secure strong letters of recommendation. Best of luck with your application!

I'm a Junior International Student studying Physics and Econ at the University of Texas at Austin, just wondering if anyone here got into CERN, Fermi Lab or the UCLA internship(or other physics internship open to internationals!), what was your resume/gpa/credentials like when you applied? Just trying to see what my chances look like or any advice/recommendations. Thanks for helping the community!

It's important to note that each of these opportunities has a unique set of requirements and preferences that potential candidates must meet in order to be considered for the position. Therefore, it's impossible to give a definitive answer about what credentials you need to get into any of these programs. That said, the general advice I would give is to make sure your resume emphasizes your academic achievements, research experience, and any other relevant skills or experiences that are relevant to the particular internship you are applying for. You should also strive for a high GPA and take challenging courses in order to demonstrate your academic abilities. Additionally, strong letters of recommendation can help to bolster your application. Best of luck with your application!
