Schools Applying to universities - is math/physics degree an overkill?
I will be starting a similar program in a months time but my university requires that I also take an English course each semester. All Canadian Universities seem to have this requirement. Is it the same in the States?- gebrial

Aspiring to build working scale models
Yes, of course he did. What I am asking for is the forums, websites and clubs that you speak of b/c I could not find anything very reliable on my own. I am sure that someone here would know of a good one through experience?- gebrial

Aspiring to build working scale models
I will be entering university in an aerospace engineering program next year but I want to get a head start on it right now. What I mean by that is start building basic rockets and planes, or even more basic than that, I don't know. Why I am here is to ask for guidance on where to start. I...- gebrial

Video lessons on undergrad physics?
Thanks for the links guys. They all look really good. I'll probably be going through MIT videos for now. Is there anything I should know about what to study specifically if I want to one day understand all the latest ideas and theories about particle physics and string theory? I love physics...- gebrial

Do Aerospace Engineers Work with Physicists?
I read somewhere that corporations often have physicists working with aerospace engineers for whatever purpose they had in mind. I don't remember where I read this so take it with a grain of salt- gebrial

Video lessons on undergrad physics?
Hello everyone. I am just exiting high school and will be going for an aerospace engineering degree this fall but in the mean time I wish to study physics. I am terrible at learning by reading, I cannot stay focused and drift off very easily, reading it but not soaking any of it in after more...- gebrial

Aerospace or mechanical engineering?
I am in a similar situation as AeroMechReady and was also wondering how the astronautic industry would look like in 4/5 years. It is what i really want to do, but if there's no market for it, it'll just be a waste. how DOES the job market look in a few years?- gebrial

Learning Physics on Free Time? How?
Right now I am a senior in high school and am planning on going into engineering once I graduate. I am halfway through grade 12 physics but it's very slow paced and everything we do is very easy. I have learned most of the basic knowledge (basic of the basic really), somewhat more than the...- gebrial

What Program to choose to transfer credits to aerospace engineering?
I am planning on going to a University in Ontario to take a program in aerospace engineering but I may not get in, so I want to prepare for that. What program should I take in Vancouver so that I can transfer all of the credits into an aerospace engineering program a year or two down the road? I...- gebrial

Astronautical/Aerospace Engineer Programs?
To start off, let me say I am a long time lurker, first time poster :) I am currently a senior in high school and I think I have decided what I should do as my career. You probably guessed it, yes, I want to become an astronautical engineer. However, I have a few questions about this that I...- gebrial
