The discussion revolves around sharing and enjoying "lame" jokes, with participants contributing various puns and one-liners. Jokes include classic setups like "A duck walks into a pharmacy..." and "Why did the chicken cross the road?" along with playful wordplay, such as "What do you call a boomerang that doesn't work? A stick." The humor is characterized by its groan-inducing quality, with many jokes eliciting laughter despite their simplicity. Participants also engage in light banter about the nature of humor, with some jokes being deemed too funny to qualify as "lame." The thread highlights a shared enjoyment of corny humor and the camaraderie that comes from exchanging jokes, creating a lighthearted atmosphere.

This is an old one I have lying around from when the LHC was new and it had a public interface (it might still have it, I dunno). Noticed this one though. Seems it was out of tune at that particular moment.

So, they missed the seesaw is basically what you're saying?

Now I know politics is a banned and inflamed subject but at this comical level (and since it doesn't set the stage for any kind of discussion) I hope it's OK. Also, I don't agree one way or the other. It is what it is:

Wow! You're right! I didn't even notice that. Smells of photoshop. Yeah, there's definitely something wrong there.

How about a " you've heard it in PF first":

" Watt is a unit of Power?"
"Yes. "
Anyone care to add to it?
