First-order differential equations.

Posted Nov6-09 at 09:13 AM by lincs-b

Computer has just wiped this post!
I have finished this unit, it basically consisted of;

A revision of the basic differentiation I have previously studied.

Brief look at the logistic equation and a very basic population.

General and particular solutions.

Initial value problems.

Errors.

Direction fields(need mathcad to fully complete this).

Euler's method.

Direct integration.

Separation of variables.

Linear first-order differential equations and the integrating factor method.

No major problems or confusions so far. Next unit is second-order differential equations.
