Space-time diagrams for special relativity
Posted Sep2-08 at 11:07 AM by Mentz114
Some time ago I wrote a little program to convince myself of some home truths about SR. Mainly that doing Lorentz boosts leaves proper intervals unchanged. This program will boost any diagram you put in and calculate specified intervals. Of course they don't change, so this actually not necessary ( but the code does it anyway ).
The program is available here on a free non-commercial basis.

This is a help page for the program and there is a link to the installer. You need a PC with Win32 to run it ( ie any version of Windows after 2000 ).
It's been suggested that there's not enough explanation about space-time diagrams in general in the program, but that's not its function.

The program has been updated today 3rd August 2010.
1. A grid is drawn on the diagram.
2. Lightbeams can be drawn with start and end points, like worldlines.Posted Aug2-10 at 08:58 PM by Mentz114
