Aeronautical engineering - Good for future or no ?
Posted Jun5-12 at 08:04 AM by midnightgeek
I have finished my 12th and am planning on doing aeronautical engineering, but I am not very certain if I would be able to get a job upon completion of the degree.
What's the future of this course .. will I ever be jobless at home ?
I am very interested in fluid mechanics and navigation and am keen on doing this but 6 out of 7 people have told me that wouldn't be able to secure a job after I finish (off course the 7th person had no clue about job prospects :P). But seriously is the job market so bad for aeronautical engineers ????
I am really confused .. can someone shed some light on this topic and provide hard facts to support your answers.
Thanks.

If you're looking for answers why would you post this as a blog instead of in the forum? In particular the career guidance forum.Posted Jun5-12 at 09:52 PM by theorem4.5.9
