Great week for the Normans

Pretty good week for the Norman clan.
First, let me just remind everyone why I started this blog-my wife was diagnosed with skin cancer before we were even married for a year. In addition, my wife's father died of that very same cancer only 5 months before she was diagnosed. I actually posted my very first blog as I sat in the hospital waiting for her while she had surgery. The blog was really cathartic and helped me just get some things off my chest.
Well, I am happy to say she is free and clear of cancer for 4 years as of this week. Hopefully, it will be a very long time before we have to deal with cancer again!
In addition, I saw my orthopedic surgeon today. My Achilles tendon is fully healed. Yeah me. I know not as big of a deal as being cancer free, but cool nonetheless I think.
My daughter moved up to a new room at daycare this week. She is definitely no longer a baby. Walking, babbling, feelings, opinions about everything!
My son seems to be (mostly) over a very crazy phase which had both my wife and I pulling our hair out. He didn't have so much the "terrible twos" as the insane three. I hope it is not just a brief break, but a definitive change. I hope.
