"Talking about the best of anything is almost like arguing about a favorite color. Everyone certainly has their own preferences. It is worse when it comes to picking and selecting the "best" text for a subject like QM. There are tons of QM texts out there, and people from all over the world use different texts. So unless one has gone through ALL the available texts, it's hardly accurate to declare a single book as being the "best".
