One of the funniest parts about being involved in robotics is watching every student want to do the one thing that's not directly related to his major. So the EEs want to redesign the frame, the MEs want to code micro-controllers, the CompEs want to work on anything that isn't embedded/driver code and the CS kids run screaming in terror. My story for getting into cs is much like everybody's: I had a video game I wanted to hack. Unlike most people, my video games were the Barbie hair, makeup, and clothes games.
